Promotions and Referral Program Terms
From time to time, Qonnect may offer promotions, discounts, referral programs, or
other special offers to its users. Participation in these programs is voluntary. By
participating, you agree to the following terms (in addition to the rest of the Qonnect
terms above):
1. Promotional Offers (Discounts/Coupons): We may provide coupon codes or
promotional discounts (for example, a percentage off a purchase or extra data) either
publicly on our site or to specific users via email or partners.
• Each promo will have specific terms, such as eligibility (new users vs.
existing, etc.), validity period, and the benefit details.
• Promotions cannot usually be combined with other offers unless explicitly
stated. (For example, one discount code per purchase.)
• If you misuse a promo code (for instance, creating multiple accounts to use a
“new user” promo multiple times), we reserve the right to void those orders or
charge the full price.
• Promotions have no cash value and are not transferable. If you received a
coupon, you can’t redeem it for cash, only for the intended discount.
• If a promotion is contingent on a condition (e.g., spend $50 get $5 off), and
later the conditions change (like a refund brings you under the threshold), the
promotional benefit may be rescinded (we’d communicate if that happens).
• We reserve the right to end or modify a promotion early if circumstances
require (for example, if we suspect abuse or if an error in the promo is
detected).
2. Referral Program: Qonnect might run a referral program where existing users
(“Referrers”) can invite new users (“Referees”) to Qonnect and both parties could
receive a reward (for example, account credit or free data).
• Eligibility: Referrers must be registered Qonnect users in good standing.
Referees must be new customers who have never had a Qonnect account or
purchase before (or as otherwise defined by the program terms).
• Referral Code/Link: We may provide you with a unique referral code or link
to share. Referees need to use this code/link when signing up or making their
first purchase for the referral to count.
• Reward: The specific reward (like $X credit or Y MB of data) and conditions
(e.g., the referee must make a minimum purchase for rewards to trigger) will
be described in the referral program details. Typically, the Referrer gets a
reward after the Referee completes the required action (like making a
purchase), and the Referee might get a welcome discount or bonus.
• Limitations: There may be a cap on referral rewards (for example, you can
refer up to 10 friends for credit). Self-referral is not allowed (you cannot refer
yourself by creating another account). Referrers should only send invites to
people they know or who are likely interested; spamming strangers or massadvertising your referral code in a misleading way is prohibited. Posting your
code on coupon sites or similar without context might be considered abuse.
• Fraud Prevention: We reserve the right to void referrals or not grant rewards
if we suspect fraud or misuse. Examples include: multiple accounts controlled
by the same person, fake identities or emails, a “Referee” who is really just
the Referrer using another email, or any violation of these terms or the spirit of
the program.
• Reward Use: Referral credits or data bonuses are for Qonnect services only
and not redeemable for cash. They may have an expiration date (which will be
communicated, e.g., referral credits might expire after 6 months if not used).
• Program Changes: We may modify or terminate the referral program at any
time. If we do so, we will honor any valid referrals made before the notice of
change, as long as the new user completes the required action within a
reasonable period. We’ll post updates on our website or notify users of major
changes to the program.
3. Contests or Giveaways: Occasionally, Qonnect could host a contest,
sweepstakes, or giveaway (for example, "Share your travel story to win free data").
These will each have their own Official Rules published at the time, which will govern
the participation, eligibility (often limited to certain countries or ages due to legal
restrictions), prize details, and how to enter. In case of any conflict between such
Official Rules and these general terms, the Official Rules of the specific contest will
prevail for that event.
4. Beta Programs or Trial Offers: If we offer a free trial or a beta test for a new
product:
• The trial is limited to one per person. At the end of a trial period, if you
continue to use the service, normal charges may apply (we will inform you if
that’s the case, typically requiring you to opt-in to continue).
• Beta services are provided "as is" and may have bugs; by participating you
acknowledge the risk. We appreciate feedback in such programs.
• We may end a trial or beta program at our discretion or invite/remove
participants if needed.
5. Liability for Promotions: Except as explicitly provided in a promotion’s terms,
promotions are provided without warranty and we aren’t liable for any loss if a
promotion is changed or canceled, except for ensuring that we don’t charge you
more than you should have paid in absence of the promo (basically, if a promo fails
wrongly and you were overcharged, we’ll correct that).
6. Taxes on Rewards: If any reward (like a contest prize or large referral bonus) is
subject to taxation in your jurisdiction, you are responsible for reporting and paying
those, if applicable. Typically small credits or discounts are not taxable, but just a
note in case of larger incentives or where required by law.
7. Additional Conditions:• Any promotional material or content we provide (like images or text to share
for referrals) should not be modified in a misleading way. Use them as
provided.
• Being a participant in a promo or program doesn’t mean you are an employee
or agent of Qonnect. You’re simply a user taking part; no employment or
partnership is created.

8. Termination of Participation: If you violate these promotion terms or any of
Qonnect’s terms (like posting your referral link in a misleading manner, or
harassment in a contest, etc.), we may disqualify you from the program and possibly
cancel earned rewards (especially if they were fraudulently obtained). Serious cases
could also involve termination of your Qonnect account if they also breach our main
terms.
